The Buhari Media Support Group (BMSG) has hailed the anti-corruption crusade championed by President Muhammadu Buhari which it believes is responsible for the delisting of the country’s name in the most corrupt countries index.
Leadership reports that in a statement signed Muhammad Labbo and Cassidy Madueke, the national coordinator and secretary respectively on Wednesday, February 3, the group claimed the image of the country was gradually changing.

President Buhari had championed had stressed that corruption would not be allowed to thrive in his administration and this has been evident in the high profile detainees especially officials who served during the administration of Goodluck Jonathan.
In the latest corruption index by Transparency International, Nigeria was ranked as 136 on the list of world’s least corrupt countries in the year 2015.
According to BMSG, this a testament to the success of the anti-corruption war waged by the present administration.
According to the BMSG “the anti-corruption war of the president, despite the cynicism of partakers in the ruinous looting of the country, is having the desired impact, nationally and internationally and has unmasked the true colour of many prominent persons and wealthy individuals in Nigeria.”
Meanwhile, twhich should be considered a major achievement.
