2 Fuji Musicians struggle over the new Olubadan.

 A new Olubadan of Ibadan will soon be crowned but two veteran Fuji musicians are struggling over who is closer to the new king designate.
High Chief Adetunji is the owner of three leading music marketing companies known as Omo Aje Sound Studio, Adetunji Label and Babalaje Records.
While K1 De Ultimate is a Fuji musician that was discovered by the Olubadan and he has been the one marketing his albums from onset.

K1’s career took off with the belief and faith High Chief Saliu Adetunji has in his talent. The Olubadan designate owns Babalaje Records and had seen K1 with the late Fuji legend Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister. Thinking K1 should do something good for himself invited him to come with him to the burial of late Apala musician Alhaji Haruna Ishola in Ijebu Igbo. After the burial, K1 wrote and composed his first song titled Abode Meca. He hit stardom when he released Talaso 84 and later Talaso 85.

Omo Aje records released and distributed all K1’s works since he started his musical career in 1984 to his 3-in-1 album Flavours in 2005. K1 started on N1, 700 royalties from Babalaje Records, it later soared from N1, 700 to N25million.

On the part of Fuji musician Sule Alao Malaika, he is married to the daughter of the Olubadan designate Olubukonla Saliu Adekunle is the first wife of the musician who has two wives and five children. Malaika met and married Olubukonla on Lagos Island and their first child is 22 years old.
